YRF Entertainment is engaged in the development and production of series for both Indian and international audiences with a vision to produce content that cuts across geographic boundaries and language barriers. In 2021 the division announced producing five marquee streaming projects, including the much-awaited OTT series, THE RAILWAY MEN - a tribute to the railway workers at Bhopal station who are the unsung heroes of the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, the world’s worst man-made industrial disaster. The Railway Men - a four episode series inspired by true stories is streaming on Netflix to worldwide audiences, to commemorate the tragedy that shook India 39 years ago.

YRF Entertainment will focus on telling content-driven, compelling stories through the streaming format for global audiences. In addition, YRF Entertainment facilitates cross-cultural collaborations between the Mumbai studio and US-based writers, directors, and technicians. Also a producer of English language films, YRF Entertainment has developed and will produce SEDUCING INGRID BERGMAN, a blacklist script written by Arash Amel about the torrid love affair between Ingrid Bergman and photographer Robert Capa. At its inception, YRF Entertainment financed and produced THE LONGEST WEEK, starring Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde, now on Amazon Prime. This was followed by Cannes-opener GRACE OF MONACO, starring Nicole Kidman, now on Netflix.

On 14th February 2023, Netflix globally launched iconic film-maker Yash Chopra & Yash Raj Films’ rich cultural legacy of 50 years in a new docu-series titled
THE ROMANTICS. The star-studded, four-part docu-series features 35 leading voices of the Hindi film industry and dives into the history of Bollywood through the lens of YRF’s impact in making Bollywood a household name globally. THE ROMANTICS has been produced by YRF Entertainment and directed by Smriti Mundhra, who returns to Netflix after the phenomenal success of ‘Indian Matchmaking’ and the ‘Never Have I Ever’ franchises.

In March 2023, YRF Entertainment announced an edge-of-the-seat thriller show, MANDALA MURDERS. It features Vaani Kapoor in the lead, co-starring Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and is directed by Gopi Puthran and Manan Rawat. The show will be streaming on Netflix in 2024.

The next project, announced in May 2023, is a quirky slice-of-life film, VIJAY 69. The film is about a man who decides to compete in a triathlon contest at the age of 69. It stars Anupam Kher in the lead role and is  directed by Akshay Roy. The film is scheduled to release on Netflix in 2024.

Further in February 2024, the release of the movie MAHARAJ was announced. The story revolves around the life of a journalist and his fight to uncover the truth. The film marks the debut of Junaid Khan, who stars alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari and Shalini Pandey, and is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. MAHARAJ will release on Netflix in 2024.
